@strat8383 - You are talking about the wonderful, sexy, Honey Lantree, someone I admire - a groundbreaker. This song was #1 in Canada, USA and the UK. The producer was the weird, wacky (and long dead) Joe Meek (also did TelStar - using a flushing toilet played backwards to mimic outer space sounds...LOL!) Anyway, Honey was a hairdresser's assistant, but somehow found time to develop her drumming. One of a few female rock drummers (Cindy Blackman is another).

Does anybody remember Herman's Hermits doing a "A Hard Day's Night"-type movie? It was called "Hold On" and I'd love to see it again. Probably pure corn, but as a little kid, I was mesmerized....and seeing the band again in 2011, I realize what great musicians/entertainers they were. Peter N. still looks great to this day, while others are half-dead looking or completely dead....

I have always LOVED British Rock. (Not that there isn't plenty of good sounds on the other side of the Atlantic!) There is a simple yet polished quality to English music that makes it stay with you!

Love the opening for Manfred Mann -- pretty cool album cover!

MANFRED MANN'S PERFORMANCE IS GREAT!

Simply marvelous--for an oxymoron. This is undiluted garage rock whose closest approximation comes in the form of some great dance music.
