i hate to say it but i just got done watching this movie for the ten thousandth time and i agree. this WAS MY LIFE EXACTLY. this is what we lived in the 70's. the party and the park scene were the most realistic ever filmed. cult classic that most people today never saw or even heard of. my all time favorite. wish they would do a "how it was made or where are they now and put on a new release dvd with all the cut scenes. i used to live where they filmed it outside of denver

Just got done watching this movie for about the 1000 time..and in all these years watching it ..it finaly dawned on me what the feeling we all get at the end of the movie is "its the loss of innocence"..and that pain that weighs on all our hearts..having to grow up..you can see when carls girlfriend is waving goodbye...that is what she is waving goodbye to...and you see it in carls face..he goes from smiling to the realastion that he is no longer a child...sad...the best movie ever!..imo!..
