"30 Big Hits Of The 60s" is a 1964 album by Bobby Vee. It features 30 hits by other artists segues into five medleys.
The album works very well. The arrangements are solid, song choices great, and Bobby makes them easy to listen to. Apparently, this album sold a lot, but not enough to make a showing in the charts.
I chose the first medley of the album, featuring "A Fool Never Learns", "Do You Want To Know A Secret", "Goodbye Cruel World", "Blame It On The Bossa Nova", and "Dawn".
This is a FANTASTIC album! I never tire of it. Skystealer4 is right, vol 2 is not AS good, but still good.

My sister bought this record and she played it a lot at our house, I know the sequences by heart, it's interesting to see it posted here, I did post a section on you tube actually playing it on the record player long time ago. A great piece of americana that has long been forgotten, but I can picture it being played all over american homes way back then....... Great record, volume two was not quite as good in my opinion
