i have 06 the show for ps2 and its my favorite game ever, and had great songs :P but i dont have a ps3 for 09 :((((((((((((((((((((

what gets me so fucking irritated about mlb the show 09

is all the generic batting stances. its fucking ridicolous how many batting stances they gotten wrong & all the players that have generic battings stances. its frustrating to have to change the stance. 2k9 have most of their batting stances right, and the commentators are the best.. if those two things are fixed the show could be the best baseball game

Actually I can't honestly say it's better than MVP 2005 since I've never played MVP 05. I was just quoting what others have said. From what I've read, even MVP 2005 had issues. Still you have to admit since MLB The show is newer and it has some awesome features it is more than likely the current best video game. If MVP were to revamp it's series and make a new game then yeah, it could challenge but face it, MVP 2005 is getting old and The Show is tops of the baseball gaming world.
