Its getting harder and harder for me to tell the Christian Fundamentalists from the Islamic Fundamentalists. Neither can handle a person disagreeing with them. Both want to make their religion the Law of the land. Both are far too influential. Far to powerful.

Religios is a poison. Its that simple. These people have no problem attacking women and gay people and destroying the rights of others for "god" yet cant handle a cartoon.

To repress free speech, even to criticize religious faith is protected under the Constitution. To muzzle that right is to commit Constitutional terrorism and participate in un-American activities. I tire of groups that seek to dismantle the Constitution. It seems like a form of treason, and it might he reasonable to take action against those that would commit such anti-American acts.

This man is doing exactly what those who promote "sharia" law do, call for investigations of blasphemy by governmental authorities. Do you want this kind of interference by government in the affairs of religion? I don't! Do you want to see government and one religion so intertwined that blasphemy is considered a secular crime? I don't! If you do vote for the Christian Republican Party this November!

People are too easily offended. Who cares if someone says something bad about your religion. If you feel strongly enough about your "faith" and beliefs, then don't worry about anyone else's opinion.

its a simple spin of the words. if you want to condemn people for blasphmeming islam you have to prosecute people for blaspheming christianity but we have freedom of speech in this country for now. this guy doesnt really want to launch an investigation on south park.so dont be like fox news

Then what is the point of mentioning the "attacks" on Christians if not to argue for the silence of "blasphemy"? He is drawing attention to a double-standard, but his solution doesn't seem to be more free speech, it's less. As for the cut, here: /watch?v=01WzEaH15M0 The segment shown above is at ~25:20. He says these blasphemous actions - actions supposedly taken specifically against Christianity - need to have light shed on them, which hardly lends itself to either argument.

As much as I dislike the religious right this man makes a point. It's a double standard when you can make fun of Christianity all you want to but Islam can't be insulted.

Yup. It sounds like he's asking why one of the filmmakers from the "Innocence of Muslims" film has been taken into custody and questioned when nothing of the sort has happened to anyone who made works insulting to religions other than Islam. He never calls for any investigation, he's just calling out a double standard. Of course, you can't expect nonbiased commentary from a group called "right wing watch", now can you?

He is not calling for anyone to be investigated for anti-Christian blasphemy. He is drawing attention to the double-standard shown by how little "outrage" anti-Christian films are subjected to, as opposed to anti-Muslim films. Additionally, this film is clearly chopped and edited at the 46-second mark. Why would RWW feel the need to do this? Is there some kind of inconvenient explanative context they didn't want seen?
