  • My aunt lived in Havre de Grace when I was a kid back in the '70's. I thought I saw her house in the beginning of the video. Were you on Commerce street? That's where she lived. The place where the dog was running up the tree (?) sure looked like her house. I remember we could watch the trains cross the bridge from her front porch at that time. Brings back memories.

  • that house was on market street, but I don't think you could see the trains from commerce??? market and commerce connect at tydings park

  • thank you soooo much for posting this,

you dont know how much this helped with my homework,

and as stupid as it sounds,

    i am still very greatful.

    thanks once again.

  • I'm glad that bridge is restored, I loved that area when I lived in Harford County

  • o my gosh my sister was born a few days before the hurricane

  • I remember that, my Daughter was one year old when it happened,we live in Germany now, but I'll never forget how it was when the entire neightbouhood was happy when we got electricity back adter 4 days. We lived on Fountain str.

  • i was in havre de grace when this happened, it was unbelievable to see the boardwalk gone.

  • It was Congress Ave. not Commerce. It's been a few years since I've been there. I'll probably get there on the bike this summer. I live in Pa. about 90 miles away. thanks for the video!

  • I made a mistake. It was Congress Ave., not commerce. She lived about a block from the street that runs along the bay/river. there was a grocery store there by the marina. It looks like a bunch of condos were built around the marina that were not there back then.
