that was exactly my point. as you very accurately pointed we'll have to farm and fish and all that. If you're resourceful, you won't starve. but how many upper class twits do you think are gonna be willing to work a field?

there'll be an initial phase when people will not have realised they won't be able to go back to the comfort of today's system, and governments will still be trying to meet their needs (and not succeeding). how will people realise they can't go back: by watching others starve.

Money is not the cause of this so called 'system' you speak of that controls us. It's our frame of reference, governments, etc. It amazes me how many people believe that having no currency is a new and bright idea thats gonna save the world. It's called the barter system, it's OLD and inefficient, which is why we no longer use it? Imagine how hard it would be for a trades person to have to find someone that needs something fixed and whom can offer them food/water everyday of their life.

You don't necessarily get paid what you earn. You have to count on the higher-ups in a company to be honorable so that you get a fair wage. You get paid what they are willing to give you. I agree with you. If a person doesn't work hard they should be paid as such. I'd like to think that's true but what about welfare, sweat shops & minimum wage that property owners have to live on? Are there enough jobs you think can help better all people? If all the weak & sickly die who cleans up the dead ?
