Our last Hurrah Bowling at Fairway Sportsworld in Natick, MA (From 5/15/11) Part 1

I decided to have a get-together with several people since Fairway Lanes is going to be closing this Friday, and so because of that, we all went bowling here today, and we all actually did really well. There were only 5 of us, including me, Bowler4ever, Nick Norcross, and a couple other people, but it was still fun.

It's really a shame to see this place go, since there's SO many good memories of this place especially with Channel 5, and what's really sad is that as my friend Urbie has stated, it's one of the few bowling centers where you earn the leaves you get, and if you make a good shot, you'll get a good leave, and vice versa.

Overall, I'm glad we bowled here one final time before they close the place down at the end of the week, and I don't think any bowling center could ever replace this one.

R.I.P. Fairway Lanes 1955-2011.

@FFHpoison you should ask them, I know they are selling pins there but I'm not sure what the deal is in terms of machine parts and the lanes.

The last day for the place being open is May 20th, and I think they need to get everything out of the building by the end of the month. I believe a storage complex is going to be built to replace it.

Mike, I knew about that the Fairway Lanes would be closing even before you made this video (although I never went to that bowling alley at all) because I know that JDonahue79 (aka James who lives in nearby Framingham, MA which borders Natick) made his own video about that bowling alley getting ready to close down as he loved going to that bowling alley when he was just a young kid. You should check his video out.

What would you think of a tournament including all 3 types of bowling-as in 3 games of each? I have bowled league in all 3 types and was on the duckpin pro tour and always thought about doin this. Keep up the great work-luv your vids!
