this really ain't that bad when you think about it this release seems like it's for the people who never got MK9 they can have all this stuff with there game at least they don't force you to buy the game by making it like if you have MK9 and you're friend had MK9Komplete then you to cant play like Mvc3 and Umvc3.

@bomberdudeify You have fun with that way of thinking, that is exactly what these companies want you to think. See, it proves that the Super/Super Arcade/Ultimate/Komplete Edition could have been the original release. To me DLC should be things that could NOT fit on the disc, thus requiring the DLC, but you go ahead and think those editions are ok, the companies thank you for it by giving you incomplete versions of the game until much later.

@roygib09 Milking their fans? Milking the people that made them what they are today? The PS2 has a more robust and varied library than the PS3, it's well worth going back. @TheRagefulReviewer its so obvious what these companies are doing, i am seriously considering going back and playing the PS2 more often since i didnt really get to enjoy the epicness of the playstation 2 back in the days when it was hot. subscribed by the way

@roygib09 Unlockables have become taboo since DLC reared its ugly head. The companies look at it as - we can give them these things for free like we used to, OR we can lock the content that's on the disc, buy a small amount of server space over XBL/PSN and charge them $5/piece for everything.

Back then they had to try, now, not so much.

@TheRagefulReviewer exactly man, its like what the hell? im playing deadly alliance and im fucking unlocking charcters and costumes by playing the arcade mode along with konquest and its pissing me cause games were 50 bucks back then AND you got all the content within the game, all you had to do was play through the actual fucking game to unlock everything and didnt have to pay a dime.

@roygib09 Why didn't they add Annihilation and Legacy? Oh that's right, they don't care! Honestly the slap in the face all started with the weak ass roster, plus them leaving out 2 fighters (Kenshi and Rain) for paid DLC. The only DLC that made sense from MK was Freddy who still could have been a bonus unlock.

Mortal kombat is my favorite franchise and im pretty pissed off about this. I downloaded 2 of the DLC kombatants but I want a physical copy. Shits me that they re release this. Really shitty way to make money off hardcore fans. They could have atleast added new characters and some new chapters. Only thing that will make me happy is if this gets released in Australia so I dont have to re order it hahah
