continuing: designed to displace all the dust generated from the dried material. As for aspahlt liquid polluting anything else, it's just like candle wax, it becomes very stiff when cold so leaking into the ground is a no go. Noise can be cut down with sound walls around the plant. Also plants generate jobs. Whats more important to you?

You people apparently don't know very much about asphalt plants. The smoke coming out of the stack is actually mostly moisture or steam that is being released from the material being dried. Also too, a lot of plants burn natural gas which burns clean although some do use waste oil others also burn food grade oil. their are clean burning options for plants so as for polluting the air theres not much of an argument. Most plants if not all plants in the usa are equipped with bag houses which are
