  • I must say this is one of the dumbest things I've seen today!

    Congratulations on wasting research money(presumably).

  • So thats what mario was using in Mario 64!

  • I saved a guys life with this think o.O

  • mo this is japan!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, I agree that diginfo is typically tech and gadgets, but this wasnt really displayed in the same light necessarily. It is not a practical use device that everyone would look into getting so much as they would experience it. This could lead to other similar devices, but nothing meant for practical use in regular terms.

It still has a use, just not one meant for everyone to use in their daily lives like we would a phone, or a car, or a mp3 player.

  • This video makes this look like a gadget, not an art piece. Also, it's featured on the Diginfo channel, which oddly enough is all about new gadgets.

If this is indeed supposed to be art and not an everyday device, then i'm sorry, it was my mistake. However, bear in mind that the context leads me to believe this thing was intended to have a use.

  • Well, you dont really have a point, that makes much sense if any.

Like I said, its an art installation thats meant to give you a new perspective. Its not meant for people to use everyday or to travel with. Its just meant to be experienced. I dont see how you compare it to a solar-powered car. Are we watching the same video?

Have you ever asked what the point of the Mona Lisa was? or compare a solar powered car to the sistine chapel?
