Interviews conducted in association with the annual meeting of the American Institute of Biological Sciences on the topic of Challenges for the New Millennium, held March 2000 at the Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC. In this recording, Ernst Mayr, of Harvard University, reflects on his life, career, and the history of the biological sciences in an interview with Michael Robinson, Director of the National Zoo.
