@danneman40 - Sure! 60p does mean frames per second, but the P denotes "progressive" - there are progressive and interlaced frames, the main difference between the two being that interlaced draws the picture in alternate rows at a time (if there are 480 lines of resolution, interlaced draws 1-3-5-7, and then comes back and draws 2-4-6-8 until the entire picture is showing) - progressive draws all lines at once, which is similar to film (which is why a lot of people like 24p) - nerdy fact :)

@Nudelsalatbomber - Yeah, I notice that a *lot* on older videos! Sometimes there'll be comments from 2 or 3 years ago that I never got notified about!

What kind of camera are you using? It's great.

@SuperGospelGangsta - Thanks! This was shot with a Panasonic AG-HMC150 in 720p60 mode (although YouTube down-rezzed it to 30p when they processed it...)

The whole point of 60p is to play it back at 30fps for a great slow-mo.

@SuperGospelGangsta - It's not the *whole* point, but that is one awesome thing about it! 60p video flows a lot more naturally, especially for nature videos, because it shows more of the movement of what's going on... Of course, YouTube kind of screws that up by down-coverting to 30p when it processes the video, but that's one of the reasons I shoot in 60p... I could do a slow-down 60p -> 30p video if you'd like though! 60p does make for some good slow-motion footage!
