111RobinHood - Coming from Canada, I would have to say that I'm sure Canadians wouldn't have stood for this either! The story would have been front page news and the top story on the CBC nightly news.

Criminal activity?!!!

This is the necessary order of the day:
All members of the police are equally detestable, anybody who knowingly enters the service of the Police Services is a traitor to the constitution and will, believe me, they will be assassinated as practitioners of political tyranny.

One other thing, ever notice how Nazi Germany could use a mere handful of armed soldiers to force hundreds and thousands of naked people to walk to their deaths. I often wondered what outcome would have been had every jew in the holocaust charged their captures? Why not die taking someone there to kill you with you? If protesters bought riot gear and dressed exactly as police, those with weapon pemits carry them openly then maybe, just maybe you wouldn't see cops bullying men in arms, ya think?

WolfEagle1961, this question is one of the most single powerful questions that I have ever heard asked. Awesome! I have often wondered how an entirely huge group of men AND women just allowed themselves to be guided to the slaughter by a relatively small number of soldiers, without ANY of them engaging in LIVE or DIE combat with those soldiers. If we are going to die anyway, then as Men, let's die with bravery in combat.

I am amazed at how we all can watch this, complain about this but in the end, constitution or not, YOU (we) still lose, period. Police dress up in protective gear that YOU as a tax payer bought then use that gear to slap you down. Why not send in hundreds of homeless people to these events and let them be arrested and refuse any sort of bail bond. Let county's feed and house them. Let local governments go broke on medical expenses and have public defenders appointed. Bog the system down.
