This is the first egg laid by one of my Coturnix Hens that live in the bottom of the parakeet aviary. You can also see the Button Quail in the video. They're the smaller birds. No eggs from them yet. Both types of Quail are about six months old.

    Yes, they love oranges. I picked those from my tree that sits right outside the aviary. 

  • They get along just fine as long as you have at least 3 hens for every rooster of each kind of bird.
