I remember when I first seen this scene it was the LIKE LOOKING into the mirror... around the same time I was obsessing about a previous relationship that fell and I continued to ramble about it to my friends, they ended up saying the same things in the end I just stopped. so hehe, carrie is like me soooo mee!!

Yes, very true, but that is one of her character flaws, just like it shows in this clip--she can fixate on one person to the extent of practically ignoring everyone else! She gets tunnel vision and has to realize for herself that it really isn't worth all the energy in the end. Which she does.

Carrie is wonderfully showing how some of us are just so annoying after a hard breakup (yes, because some break ups are soft). I tell how I was wonderful to him and how he did not deserve me to the friends who listen very religiously and at one point they just can't take it anymore!! she only ever talks about herself...
seriously, when anyone else has a problem, she's willing to talk about it for all of 5 seconds. an example: miranda was struggling to look after a new born baby and charlotte was going through a divorce, and stanford had a new boyfriend, yet she insisted on going on ALL THE TIME about some woman who she doesn't even know who may or may not hate her. this is just one of a few reasons!
