I saw Bauhaus a few times in Liverpool in 1980. What a band...... monochrome lighting, dark atmosphere and totally unique music. Definitely the original goth band. Very influenced by Bowie and the Banshees, though took it to their own level. Saw them again at a reunion in Manchester in the noughties (can't remember year) and were equally brilliant.

what year was this performance and what was the venue?? It sounds reminds me a bit of what I would hear at 8-BC in the east village.
some of you people need to fucking relax.
And anyone who puts My Chemical Romance and Green Day and Fall Out Boy in the same category as Peter Murphy or Bauhaus , go slit your wrists.

Are you stupid? Or perhaps you're just a poser who thinks goth is Marylin Manson and Larimosa and Nightwish.
