  • Could someone else post this footage. Please have a cleaner audio track. I cant hear much on this video??

  • John Carpenter just wants to go smoke a joint. Best director ever, Rodriguez is good too, but of a completely different generation, almost a massive gap between the two.

  • Yes, you can really detect the gap between the two. Carpenter almost seems annoyed with Rodriguez and only half listens. Rodriguez seems like a encyclopedia just opening.

  • Plus, the camera is all over the place. Zooming in and out, etc.

  • @tSpawnt In a lot of ways, I found LA to be better too. But new york is more of a classic I would say.

  • @southboundcinema Escape from LA!!! Halloween, the thing, the fog, they live...

  • When a fan asked John Carpenter if he wanted to add anything to ESCAPE FROM L.A., he said without pause. "Yeah. About 15 weeks of post production." Apparently he was forced to shoot it in 9 weeks. WTF. Somebody needs to get a script, John Carpenter, Kurt Russell, and Dean Cundey, and get a good movie going for this guy. He's a legend that started the unstoapable slasher film genre. I miss his earlier films.

  • Kool voyuer cam footage, seem this a few years back made me think a little about movie_makingpssibilities ie do I FUCK SAY A STACY IN70 or 90 mil go Hidef ?

  • wish someone would use the youtube captions on this. Carpenter is really hard to understand

  • @ovenproof If your talking about JC's greatest work, it was Dean Cundey. If your talking about this piss poor video tape, it was probably ramireziez or what ever his name is,, best work.

  • John Carpenter meets who? Who is this rodriuez guy? Mexican trying to do film?
