@DanteSitwell But there's two things to consider. THere's also the reload time, which is small compared to a real musket's reload time, but huge compared to the other FPS. And accuracy is also far from being realistic, but once again, compared to the accuracy in the other FPS games, it's rather good.

@DanteSitwell still seems like an idiotic tactic to me. I would think very small units of men equipped with muskets could massacre a large formation.
Certainly worked for the "Swamp Fox", Francis Marion.
But ya, it's fun to do in the game.

players online form "line battles" just because they want reenact formations. Back then, they didnt fight in battalions and formations because they wanted to for the hell of it like the players. They did it because their rifles were so inaccurate that musket fire is better massed and volleyed. here, they have every chance to rambo and solo since its a fps.
