Yup - It's happening up here in Canada as well. A little slower, but make no mistake, it's happening here. Us North Americans need to be more like Europeans (esp. the French), when the people don't like something, like storm the streets and protest, sometimes violently - until they get what they want. After all, they did give America the Statue of Liberty (a French symbol- just so you know - that's why it's facing France).

well, Europeans (see France and Greece more recently) do know how to protest en masse better than us North Americans. "We" have been dumbed down for generations now. People are oblivious to what's going on around them. Just keep giving them shiny new gadgets and they won't notice. It's become "acceptable" for a lot of the youth to collect welfare, smoke weed and play x-box all day. Norway does sound very civilized and wonderful. Just know, not all of us North Americans fit the stereotype.

In europe we never storm the streets to protest thats what you do in america and whats destroying Canada and USA!

You hava a civil war going on over there, people in USA and Canada belive in soemthign stupid as New world order and hate you're own police thats there to protect you, drug war, people can buy weapons so much you want over there and shoting robebrs is seen as a good thing and killing other people and young people over there think it's fine to not work, do drugs and smoke weed!!

You can afford trillions of dollars in spedning top Wall Street. You can waste trillions on the army. You donæt mind spending another 70 billion dollars a year to keep those private prisons full with pot smokers.

That is wrong. None of the Scandianvia countries are even close to an economic meltdown. The countries with a "freemarket" anarchism with NO social safetynet like in Greece, there is an economic crisis. The bankers took over Greece, and started to look at the little common social secirity they have and wanted to take that pie in order for the Greeks to pay off someone elses debt. Just like you bailed out Wall Street, have supported GE, the oil industry and a bloated military.

Even though I agree with the underlying point of the video, it's overstated and too black/white : Denmark does not have more than a few electric cars, public wages being higher than private gives an unmanageable bureaucracy obsessed with verifications, and I doubt most countries (well, besides Norway) could afford the best of all worlds that you portray here (a good standard of living requires proportional wealth). Also, those debt numbers might be entirely dependant on economic fluctuations.

Well at least Norway would never vote for a bill like S1867 into law over their own people. They would never call their own citizens terrorists without court and a attorney. America has passed a bll that does this to Americans. How do you feel about their socialism now?

The resat of Europe is failing because right winged parties promise people MORE money in their pockets, and lower taxes and more personal freedom, all at the same time. Thats why its failing.
