@BCRachelReed Thank you.

Can you demonstrate methods for proper dispatching of animals, so that the younger people realise how important that is ? How to approach traps , dispatching, and removing animal from trap. Thanks.

Nice area around those parts.

Hey, Mike. I used to trap muskrat when I was a kid and remember I had to treat the traps somehow (involved black walnuts and wax, I think) and am wondering if you'd consider a video showing people the steps between opening the box from the store and putting it on the ground ready to trap.

@527797357 thanks for asking there are several ways to trear your traps but first is to boil the new traps to remove the oil. next hang them out in the weather and let them take on a good coat of rust so the die will stick . the best thing i ever used was a big tub of apple peelings and a little water to cover the traps that made them look nice and dark .
next i would use pore on floor wax to wax the traps it stayes on all winter and dont peal of like some waxes do . thats the way i do it .

@BCRachelReed I got a 5 gallon bucket of rotted apples I had intended to put out for deer, but do you think those would work for dye with some water? What about maple bark?
