I have the same issue so I feel your pain. I am going to check if my insurance will cover some of the cost. I am so happy to finally know the name of the condition is brachymetatarsia.

I have that condition in both feet but I dont have the money for the surgery....I never wear flip flops or uncover my feet in public. I know the feeling....I pray one day I can get that surgery to gain that confidence I have lost since I was a teenager

how much does it cost to do the surgery and where are you located

insurence does pay for it i went to the doctor acouple days ago and he says that it is not a cosmetic surgery because it causes stuff on your feet to appear. I have this and i wad gonna get surgery this year but im just gonna wait till nexy year

many doctors will state that it is painful therefore insurance will payfor it, go to a foot surgeon and see what they say

Awesome information! I have a friend who has brachymetatarsia and am encouraging her to get the surgery...she will feel so much better about herself. As of now, she won't go barefoot or wear any type of sandal and it really depresses her.
