Alright, thanks. I've jumped before, but never at that level, and it was just a tad confusing.

@NaomiBrutality Bottom line is these are huge animals with minds of their own, no matter how much training and preparation goes into each event, bad stuff can still happen. No one is perfect every time and not everything can be accounted for. Its tragic that accidents happen, but it's a risk all horse people have to understand and respect. It's worth it :)

:/ Wouldn't you expect jumpers at this level to count their strides and keep these kinds of accidents from happening?
