I'm really high right now, but I *think* it's some kind of joke.

I can't believe I just hit the "like" button.
This video cracks me up, and I keep getting this bizarre song stuck in my head.

@polymath7 If you really like it, check out my other videos "Lollipop" and "Somebody Sent Me a Valentine".
I wish I could tell you the artist, but as I say, it was just an entry in an amateur kids' music competition in the early 1990's. As far as I know, I'm the only/first person to post this on the net.

Maybe it's just the pot, but the combination of this bizarre song with that equally bizarre photo of Harold Bloom with the sour expression has me laughing my ass of.

My friend is a children's musician. In the 90's she was hired to judge an amateur children's music contest. She has a tape of the absolute worst that has brought a lot of amusement to friends over the last 15 years. I decided to immortalize them on the internet, "Up Up Up" include. The artists' identities are unknown to me.
And why Harold Bloom? Because you can just look in his face and see what he's thinking: "this is not an aesthetic triumph, dear. This is a period piece, dear."

"...you can just look at his face and see what he's thinking".
*chortle*
Yes, that was my reaction *exactly*.
Even in the cold light of sobriety it's still quite funny.
*Please* tell me you know the context of the photo and what Bloom was actually listening to?

@polymath7 It's a still from the movie Apparition Of The Eternal Church. I've not seen the movie but I've read that Bloom and others were asked to listen to an agonizing organ track from Messiaen and respond to it. Bloom obviously was not charmed.
