They were business owners, moms, and school principals.
They were as young as 14, and as wise as 93.
And they came from all parts of San Diego to meet Meg Whitman as she kicked off a statewide grass roots tour Wednesday to meet voters and hear their concerns about California.
Whitman traveled across the city, making several stops -- at small businesses and a community college -- to meet the hundreds of supporters who cheered her efforts to become the states next governor and to build A New California.
