@IMaDEM0N Yes Yenko was a chevy dealer in cannonburg. He ordered the cars as plain L78 big block SS's with 396ci engines. He then pulled the 396 out and put the L72 427 425 hp in. This was done in 67 - 68 only. The 69 model, yenko talked GM into installing the L72 for him under the central office production order otherwise know as COPO. The last Yenko Camaro ever made by him was in the 81 year model called the Turbo Z. Rest in peace Don Yenko May 27, 1927 – March 5, 1987

Modded any Pont. G8 GT yet???
uh, I didn't think that a Yenko Camaro in it's true 'classic' sense would be legal now. That being based on the Original Yenko's where GM sent a number of Camaro's to Yenko Chevrolet (which I think was either a chevy dealership or just a custom car shop in Cannonsburg, PA...& now (as-of when I was last there in 2008) the building where it was is a Rundown abandoned Shit Hole that's either condemned or Needs to be f-ing condemned....

This car was built by Nickey Chicago out of St. Charles, IL. Nickey used to be a dealer in Chicago, but was closed down in the early 70's. The owner of Nickey Chicago is bringing back the muscle car era with the new Camaro SS. He builds these cars to order. The Yenko name is still being contested. There are several companies claiming to have the rights to build under that name, There are several videos on my channel of other Camaro's that Nickey has built.
