@Chief2454 Depends how you mean. I don't think her vocals are stronger than most famous musicians today but her voice is unique and used in an interesting/creative way.

@TheRockael the beggining of this song is on the track ( ) but Ruby Throat released a special edition for The Ventriloquist in 2009 with this track, along with "Dog Song", "You Don't Owe Me" and "Barebaiting".

@papadepeej Wow. You guys really aren't her fans? She said in an interview a long time ago when QA released taxidermy that she had taken drugs. Also that she lost her virginity whilst sniffing glue. And that she lived on a houseboat. In case you hadn't noticed - most of the music world is on drugs!
Oh and yes, I've met her to. Camden Monarch. About 10 years ago now. She was wearing a ripped up wedding dress. She was amazingly kind and very beautiful. From that moment on I've loved her!

Katiejane is a talanted, beautiful and creative individual with the most unique voice and artistic flare. Absolutely captivating in my opinion.
I doubt she's on drugs on anything of the sort. I've suspected her to be on the Autistic spectrum before, possibly Aspergian, but whatever's the case behind her quirkiness is no business but her own.

I don't understand why everyone assumes that this woman is on drugs. Haven't any of you ever been around a truly eccentric talent? I saw her at the Mercury Lounge with Ruby Throat. When she entered the room, you knew you were in the presence of a star....such charisma. I was standing about five feet away from her. She was so beautiful and healthy looking. She wouldn't look that good if she were the substance abuser everyone thinks. They blew away the crowd. What a talent.
