Potentially one aspect is missing, the concept of a soul. If the idea is that mind==soul, then I would call for distinctly that separation. Further, the brain is not the mind either, but part of the body that physically accommodates the activities of the mind/soul.
I think that some proof of this lies in the fact that the brain can be damaged but the essential, spiritual "you" remains the same. Also, near death experiences, etc.
Interesting video. But is division necessarily a bad thing? To ask this question is almost to ask "Is Western civilization a bad thing?" as separation - from God, from nature, from the objects of science - is so central to it. I'm not at all sure it is a bad thing, whilst finding Eastern thought - which you seem to espouse - deeply interesting. Of course there are Western thinkers - Spinoza, Schopenhauer - who straddle the divide.

Mind/soul is transcendent of body.
