You click on the icon on the top menu, and "Arm System". Enter your password to activate.
To stop it, just enter your password again.

In fact, in order to start the alarm with the remote control, it's necessary to press the button during a "long" time (around 1 or 2 seconds). It's not just a pressure if you see what I mean ;)
