Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga - Feng Huang

One of the four guardian beasts you can fight after defeating Beelzebub.

Feng Huang uses fire based attacks, and like Baihu, they get progressively stronger as she loses health. She is tougher than Baihu, as she uses makakaja a lot more frequently, so having someone with dekaja is essential. Unfortunately for me, that person was Cielo, so this fight was more drawn out than it needed to be. Do NOT use a -kunda spell or debilitate on her four times, as she will immediately dekunda it, then use makakaja and finish with megidolaon, and, well, you can see the damage it caused to me, so try and keep a check of how many times you've lowered her stats.

One plus point is that she's susceptible to ice, and so can be frozen, which can help no end if she does. Pretty soon, bird-brain will be defeated.

wait... i have to kill that fly in order to get these guys? i scaled the temple without killing him. i decided to fght something else first, but i didnt kill his human form. when i left the tower there wa no mnster alert.

your thoughts?

@dadsbigman You have to kill human Beelzebub before you can face his fly form. Only after you've beaten both will you be able to fight the four guardian beasts

Dunno why, but I still can't find her. And I search in the whole Svadisthana!

She should be on the opposite side of the area you fought human Beelzebub in. Can't really remember as it's been a while since I fought her.

You have to watch out for her HP Thief attack.

It once drained 1000+ HP from Heat despite his MaxHP Being just above 500

Wow, all the times I fought her, she never used that attack. I must have got lucky!

@Dormin87 really? because ive climbed the tower, told gale no, then killed his human form, and then a guy at the tower said some rookies went a-wall. i think you may have been off by about one boss, but i dont know yet since i decided to not fight them yet. those arahabaki's are hindernig my atma grinding and i need noises. i think ill just go fight isis

In the fight that I beat her in, she didnt use it, which was lucky for me too.
