It's never genuinely complete though, it has a beginning but no end, at least in a traditional sense.
For me, the subtext alters everytime i witness this sequence in it's entirety, it refuses to be defined conclusively by knowledge or assumption, that is a rare feat for a seemingly random sequence of static images.
The sequence grows and shrinks and challenges emotional perception, never meant to be grasped or understood, perpetual wonderment in all its glory

What i enjoy about this sequence in the film is that it's open to interpretation, at least in my opinion it is.
Regardless of all the academic deconstructing of the ending and the countless theories that persist, the supposed intentions of the director, the influence of the novel, the events in the chapter Jupiter and Beyond Infinity can mean whatever you want it to mean.
The genius of this ending is that it's a malleable construct that is completed by an individual's personal experience
