  • Milestone.

  • Incredible song. The first part has that juicy guitar rhythm, lead-fill and silky melody. One has no idea that it will just keep going and going. Then at the end you're like 'but of course...it had to go all the way.' A stone-wall classic.

  • @regteren55 There is at least one vintage Meters video you can find by searching "meters jungle man". Enjoy!

  • @dakarlion1 yeah the Rolling Stones tours with the Meters are quite an unknown thing for so-called music lovers or the younger today. Just like Billy Preston was some sort of fifth Beatle :) Labels seemed to be more stretchable at the time. By the way this one tune is great rock'n'roll to my ears. Maybe they should have played it along with the Stones! Or did they?

  • One of the most funky bands ever! I once saw them opening for the Rolling Stones. I was 15 years old and the Stones disappointed me but I was totally knocked out by this band which I didn't know at that time. Rejuvenation is one of their best albums.

  • too bad theres no video clip left of them

    great funn band
