cobra torch video review part 2 I am going to cut 1/2" plate with the cobra torch. 4psi acetylene 16psi oxygen. It's my first time with this torch so I am far from good with it but this is my first impression so If you don't like it and think I suck. please leave me a nasty comment so I can fight with you. It looks like it will make exceptional cuts with some practice but only if the torch is in a ideal position. I would not think it would be good to cut a full 4X8 sheet in half or for cutting pipes but it looks like it would be super good for artwork and cutting small pieces. cobra torch henrob 2000

  • wtf?? please tell me why this set-up's better than a regular single tip torch? i'll take my victor any-day!

  • @jwmacawful its not better. I like traditional torches more than this thing. Victors are good even though they are made in china now.

  • Victor makes their stuff in China now

  • @freddytk421 after going with the traditional two hose single tip cutting torch for more years than i care to remember i'm probably against this setup just cause i don't want to change. it's very hard to teach an old dog new tricks. for the new guys (and gals!) starting out on it it's probably a good thing.

  • @jwmacawful Savings on gas, USA made, can make really fine cuts with no slag...

  • @jwmacawful victor torches made in china?? please say it ain't so!!

  • buy a smith set up there the best oxy ast setups you can have and there the safest on the market.

  • Freddy, try dragging copper tip lightly on surface of steel Plate. Preheat steel and pull oxygen trigger before you pull copper tip to steel. this will keep tip clean. You will take away all the pressure fromyour hands and arms. let me know how this way works. thanks
