@TheBrunozxc You forgot this is for "Real Self Defense" in the streets people come at you expecting to finish you off with a single right handed karate chop to the next. Once you block it and turn it will take them at least 6 seconds to retaliate with their left hand. More than enough time to do an over exaggerated hip toss in which they simply go along with your movements to make them seem effortless. Everyone knows that.

if anyone is paying attention instead of arguing about aikido and it's effectivess, I would urge you to notice how well he extends his uke beyond his hips in order to make this a powerful throw. very nice.

0:11 why not a left hand punch?... Oh wait.. i forgot you're not supposed to fight back ;D

Don't make your partner attack you with a ridiculously slow, wide, off-balance, over-reaching slap attack! Not even a retarded schoolgirl would attack with such a weak technique...
If you're really confident in your style, defend against attacks that would actually work if you failed to defend. And if you really got guts, put gloves on your partner, so if you fail to defend properly, you get hit. I hope to see some respectable Aikido videos soon, because I like the style.

GREAT!! I love that tehnique but it's hard for me to do it, greetings from Argentina!!

Let me tell you this. I was unce lucky enough to participate in trainings held by one of the Hombu Dojo masters, and so it happened that he demonstrated one technique on me. I had 10 inches and 50 lbs on him, no less. Jet I was essentially helpless. So take my word for it, if you ever face an aikido master in a street fight, you (and most other people for that matter) are done for.

ok,its beautiful but I am dying to see a real Aikido player uses it in real real real fight, especially against someone stronger than him/her..
is that hip or shoulder throw ?
because if that's hip throw, your hips are 10 cm above your shoulders ...
