the veloster is actually a pretty good car besides the dumb 3r door. of course if you want a race car to drive in a 30 mph neighborhood, be my guest. i dont see the point of buying fast cars when theres little to no place to drive them fast and not to mention about fuel economy.

i never said it the veloster is a race car, i was arguing with someone who was saying it is better to buy a fast car and what not(just read his comment) and when i said the 3rd door is dumb is because they could have put 4 instead of 3. it looks like a gimmick. other than that i think the veloster is a very good car

@EdgeRatedR007 I have a Veloster and 1st of all, the 3rd door IN NOT dumb. It's fantastic!!!! It's small enough to fit the design, but big enough to easily allow someone to get in and out without compromising the overall design. Also, it's a pain in the butt to get in the back of a 2 door car. Secondly, the Veloster IS NOT a race car by any means. This is not a fast car. The turbo may kick it up a notch, but the basic Veloster is definitely not fast.

@wannabeRanger0321 I don't know the pricing in America, your situation is hopeless anyhow, buying Korean dishwashers is obviously a lot better than your average american engine-on-a-shopping-cart.

In Europe we get much better and cheaper options from our carmakers, not to mention there is no turbo option on the veloster yet.

@lakeb0dom comparing extras the Korean dishwasher has a lot more to offer then GTI or A3. In the US the Veloster is cheeper then dirt and you get voice controlled stereo, gps, premium sound and back up cam. Sorry but when they come out with the turbo model, it will blow the doors off a GTI and Audi A3 all while getting 30mpg city and 40mpg highway. 201bhp at 2800lbs. Oh btw. American cars suck because they are made in Mexico. Asian cars kick ass because they are made in America.

@ozon3k so long as it's not a govt mandate who cares. If people don't like it they won't buy it and the only ones to suffer are the car manufacturers. I for one am excited for the turbo model to come out. Having one less door is what helps make this car lighter then the mini cooper s and also helps it get 30mpg city and 40highway. Maybe if you weren't so busy crying about something that doesn't affect you personally you'd have time to take a math or science class and understand engineering.

@EdgeRatedR007 Well, if you live in the DC and NY area where people drive crazy and aggressive, its good to have a faster car. Or else they'll be honking at you, people are impatient here. Plus the Turbo model will be fast, and still have really good fuel economy. And the 3 door idea is awesome...
