This is R+R, a fantastic and most rare horizontal shmup from 1995 that was presented originally by Nin-Niki for the Japanese Sharp x68000/x68030 home computer series, and it is just pure kickass fun indeed, right down to both the amazing sounds and the way it plays!!! d=^-^=b !!
Right from the get-go, you have two (2) types of shots to work with in this game -- a blue straight shot and an orange wide shot -- and you can switch between both weapons with just a touch of a button. Also, unlike most traditional x68k shooters from back in the day, you simply power-up your guns by scoring a set amount of points (shown on the lower-left corner of your screen), which was really an innovative little feature, I believe!!! :D
For more information on this impressive little shmup (plus a peek at even more stages, too!), please check out this interesting Japanese page about this splendid piece of x68k software itself:

...and I GOTTA thank you so much for your wonderful watching, ladies and gentlemen!! Enjoy this vid of such a rare x68k shmup indeed!!! (^-^)v !!
Hey, you are absolutely welcome, Ragnakaos... not a problem!! ^-^=b !!
In the game that I've tried out, since the apparent full game of this with multiple stages is SO impossible to find these days, all I can sadly show you is just that first stage. :( I mean, had I got access to more stages of R+R, I would have *gladly* showed it to you on YouTube for sure!! ;)
Anyway, I thank you so truly much for the comment, and you are QUITE correct about the amazing little power-up system, too!!!

Thats an awesome looking shmup. The graphics, music and sound effects all go together very well. The power up system seems really innovative too. Its simple but effective. Please tell me you're going to do more of the stages! As always, thanks for sharing :)

Yeah, this game R+R is REALLY tough to find these days on the x680x0 home computer series! But I will tell you one thing though,
SAGAIA2: this shmup plays like a mad hot horizonal version of the 1990 Seibu Kaihatsu arcade game Raiden in many ways with some very interesting ideas put to real good use, and I am sure that you do not even want to miss it indeed, I must most genuinely say!!! ^-^=b !!
