I was allowed to make a copy from the original film owned by Micheal Hubbert, King's favorite nephew!

I think Hubbert was largely ignored because he was talking about limits to growth and the need for a new economic paradigm which is still a challenging subject for most people to stomach.

No. Hubbert was co-founder of Technocracy Incorporated and co-author of the Technocracy Study Course. The schematic form of the Technate is already decided. It was inherent in the data. It will work only in one way and that way has been determined by physical laws. What you call "Resource Based Economy" is complete nonsense.

Speaking of new economic paradigm, you wouldn't happen to be talking about the Resource Based Economy?

Because that's the best structure for a new economy I've seen yet.

Oh, and it's the same old story

    Ever since the world began

Everybody got the runs for glory

Nobody stop and scrutinize the plan...

The word "recoverable" means nothing unless you include EROEI and flow-rates in the bargain. You are just denying the existence of the 1970 U.S. peak, which already accounted for the drilling you claim is reversing it. FYI, Alaska peaked in 1988, with ANWR already accounted for.

Vague math can't change the geology of diminishing returns. The idea that America somehow "forgot" we still had huge reserves is ridiculous, and new technologies can't yield exponential increases from kerogen shale.

You don't understand the difference between a small uptick from the Bakken shale + more offshore drilling, and an actual trend that can override the 1970 U.S. peak of 10 MBPD.

A huge misconception is that the majority of U.S. shale can be fracked like the Bakken, when in fact it's mostly kerogen that must be cooked, with intense water usage. Kerogen has yet to be practical, EROEI-wise. The Bakken may yield 4-5 billion barrels tops, at nothing near the flow-rate needed to reverse the U.S. peak.

Terrible how far GOP = Greedy Oil Party propaganda can go. Oil is compared to solar energy already far to expensive.

Now I have seen 1st time Dr.King Hubbert. Only some month ago, I discovered, that he was also co-founder of technocracy movement. I am just writing the book "Calculation ERROR", the big failure to miss the oil exit at the right time, which caused all the economic trouble and downfall of USA+EU
