'Hollywood Sign Girls' trailer

The new trailer for the soon to premier 'Hollywood Sign Girls', an independent short feature shot entirely in Perth Western Australia. The film is inspired by the true story of tragic figure Peg Entwhistle, an aspiring actress in 1930's Hollywood who became the first person to suicide from the Hollywood Sign. Written and Directed by Patrick Herford, Produced by Jess Woodland and starring Danielle Baynes, Mollie King, David Smyth, Saskia Hempele and George Gayler.

No the film has not been released yet. We are currently promoting the film via the festival circuit as we made the film independently.

If you read back through the comments you will see how we have addressed questions about the film's narrative. The story is told through the eyes of a friend who is fascinated by Peg so includes elements of her life as well.

Looks very cool indeed. I also made a short film about Peg and I believe we exchanged some messages about it awhile back. This looks very good and I'd love to see it. I'm in L.A. actually literally living about a block from Peg's old cottage and in the shadow of the HWD Sign. Cheers!
