Excellent point. THose of us who claim Jesus as Lord have no monopoly of wanting or working for peace. My prayers will be with you this weekend.

Let me ask you then: Who would Jesus Kill? (WWJK)
Maybe more of us followers of our Lord should wear those bracelets! "Blessed are the peacemakers," the Master said.
Peace is the answer.

I'll be there with part of my congregation.

While we wait for the political system to catch up with people of faith and turn away from violence, fear, war, and death toward love, peace, and life, let's gather, carry signs, and keep remembering that we are better than what has been done in our names.

I was moved to tears.

I'm there!
