Another amazing one Zoe! Both of your talks on humane education are inspiring and perhaps more importantly encouraging. Love the stories you included this time. Such great examples of how anyone can help create a more just, humane and sustainable world.

Good talk! Zoe breaks down our current societal malaise and reframes it into something that we are not only complicit in but have the resources to help turn around. Her questions are good: "What systems do you most want to change? What skills and talents can you bring to bear? What do you most love?" She says that if you can find the intersection of these three questions that you can actually help to make a difference. And as a human being and a mother, it is my responsibility to do just that.

Hi Zoe,
You did it again! You opened my mind.Your message's never ceases to amaze me. You are a Super Hero and we need Humane Education for the entire world.
Unfortunately our public education system teaches students(besides mediocrity) what to think, instead of how to think.Thank you for talking about the many animals used in product testing,it's not a very popular topic.I hope it inspired your audience to do the research, change their ways.
ZOE FOR MADAM PRESIDENT <3 I like to imagine it!

True, adults rather than children, like to "cover their ears" and sing "La-la-la-la-la" in hopes of staying in ignorance...even if that ignorance is hurting us. (poor health, etc.)

Zoe is a passionate, cynicism-free forward-thinker. She is not prescriptive and has faith in humankind. Her hopefulness is fiery and inspiring! She exhorts every single person to embody environmental, social action, and to change oppressive systems. Zoe leads by example, proving that it is possible, that there are kinder choices to be made, and “the world becomes what we teach.” All teachers should be humane educators—it’s not a course in the curriculum, it’s a way of learning/teaching/living.

Zoe - thank you for sharing your vision and especially yourself with the next generation. It is quite amazing that kids don't generally say - I don't want to know when confronted with uncomfortable knowledge. I think it is because they really do believe they can and should make a difference, but then somewhere along the road to adulthood, the cynic within gets the upper hand. That's why it is so important that kids get the opportunity to be the change they want to see in the world.
