where Nolan had the more sadistic side of The Joker, Now I heard that they're going to reboot Batman again after TDKR, and I hope whoever writes the last set of Batman movies will write The Joker with both the comical and sadistic sides, the TRUE way he was meant to be rather than just pick one over the other

I wish people would stop arguing over who was Better as The Joker, They BOTH DID AN EPICLY GOOD JOB, You need to realize that Nicholson's Joker was taken from the comics when Bob Kane first started writing Batman, Ledger's Joker was mainly a more realistic take on the character because lets face it only in the comics can someone survive a bath in Toxic Waste and live. If people really knew The Joker well they would see that Burton had more of the Comical side of The Joker

Jack looked forced and was too old for the role even then. Ledger however was the better actor and the performance with the darker scenes was spectacular. Also everyone who says that jack was closer to the comics should read the basic facts of the character. Mainly those about NOT KNOWING WHAT THE JOKERS REAL NAME IS. Also it is believed that the joker was a failed comedian rather than an established mob boss character.

lets face it guys we always remember joker as the funny joke maker and laugher, not a serious psycho well maybe a little but not that much as the heath ledger joker i like more jack nicholsons joker it's more orginal joker.

Jacks was great but I'll admit Heath had alot to live up to and alot to do to make the role his own and he pulled it off. I could so easily imagine a new take on the Joker bombing hard. there was alot at stake and he made took some big risks with the character that worked. gotta give him credit.
