  • Is it allowed to walk near the mittens??

  • I don't think that you are allowed walk around. May be if you hire the local guides... There is a main route where you can drive by the area and it is around 7 miles long.

  • please tell me the name of the song! beautiful place!

  • The music is featured by a local Najavo called Nakai and I think the music is american grace! Thanks for watching!

  • thanks for sharing i really like the pic of my dad an my home now i want to go home when ever i am home sick i always look at the pics

  • @freestylesk8r4life No, unfortunately you can't walk around aside the main route, the land is private owned. But you don't have to, the route itself is really great and long enough to spend a whole day there. On horse back though you can get much closer to the mittens. Been there very recently, it is stunning!

  • This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It was my childhood dream to go there. I have to get back someday. I'd like to finally make it to the mittens and touch them. What an amazing place.

  • Lovely! The last time I was there in the 70's there were no viewpoints as now. Just the land, and I must admit I miss that rustic naturalness. But, the beauty is the thing and it is still there. I remember getting up early to watch the sun rise. We drove down the road, and all around had been swept clean by the windy night before. The only signs of life were kangaroo rat trails and deer prints. It was as if we were the first to see it. A sweet memory! Thank you for posting this!

  • called amazing grace...beautiful music for a beautiful place :)

  • 0.36 One day, I'm gonna stand there. Hope that I can walk UP the mittens. :D

  • Love your pictures of Monument Valley, and great choice of music, brings tears to me old eyes. Went to Monument Valley about 5 years ago, and almost tore my Pickup Truck up on those rough rock roads, but it was worth it. Like being on another Planet out there.

  • The song is Amazing Grace. We sing it in church all the time. We hired a guide for a private tour. He showed us places that group tours do not go. If you have an SUV, you can tour some of the monument without a guide.

    Thanks for posting

  • This video is awesome!! Good Job!!!
