We promised you Amr Khaled, and here he is!

What is AKYD? (pronounced Akeed)

It is the result of an idea; an idea that we wanted Amr Khaled to connect with more youth online, and at the same time provide them with a set of useful lessons. And where better a place than facebook?

Rather than choosing a set of spiritual skills, every month Amr Khaled will choose a skill that youth need to become well rounded and productive members of society.

It is his hope that members of the group will then spend the month discussing this skill, how to implement it in our lives, and the practicality of it in our lives today.

We hope that this group will be useful to all of you, and that we will all benefit from it.

PLEASE do not post discussion topics or wall posts that are completely irrelevant to the group's main aim and topic. We apologize for having to delete discussion topics/wall posts that are just ads/ du'uas etc. They just make the discussion board very messy, especially since we cannot group topics. Jazakum Allahu Khayran for cooperating. If you do decide to post a discussion topic, please make sure to label it CLEARLY so people know what it is.
