There are many jobs available and it may not be the type you desire, but the longer you stay away from jobs that you do not want, it makes it most difficult. McDonald's, janitorial, construction and washing dishes. There are many jobs available! So get off the unemployment and get any job, even if you hate it!

@patsaxon Not by me I cant get a job doing anything im willing to do anything people don't want to give me a chance they always seem to pick the so called "cool" people.

@HookemHorns972 I won't say what company I was with, other than it started with an R. I have stated that there are never any raises to be gained or promotions with them. I can say that the one I am now with is call Comet Security.

@linwooddeaton If you would be happy at ten an hour try getting a job as a security officer. If 10 makes you happy and you would not mind being stuck at ten for life I suggest trying for a job at any security company affiliated with Murdock Security based out of NY. If you want to ever get raises go somewhere else.

@HookemHorns972 I'm doing security still. Same line of work, but now I have full medical and more pay. I have received 2 raises in 7 months and have been promised more. I highly recommend seeking employment in jobs you have experience in at places that say they don't know if they are hiring.

Im going through the same bullshit, I had to drop school to help her out, while she has a damn masters degree. Why is all the damn pressure on me to find a better job? She has more skills than me and a high degree this is bullshit.

so far for people that have found a job so far are jobs offered by people they know.

There are plenty of jobs available, no one wants to work for minimum wage and accept low end jobs! There is no excuse for not willing to wash dishes, scrub toilets and wait tables! There are jobs, get off of unemployment and get off of your ass and apply! Simple as that! There is no need for unemployment benefits and no excuse for being on unemployment! Get a job regardless of low pay and low end!
