Recorded without the bands knowledge or permission and then distributed unofficially by fans. Bands like Motorhead don't mind it, bootlegs are only really bought by true fans coz the sound quality isn't always too good and true fans will buy their official recordings too. Bands like Metallica get really shitty about bootlegs coz they think they might be losing money. In the days before mp3 and the internet I had loads of bootlegs from bands like Motorhead, Iron Maiden AC/DC, sisters of Mercy.

Even if it is a bootleg, its still a fuckin awesome song, and metallica sucks in my opinion

It is an awesome song! One of my fave Motorhead tracks. Metallica suck now for sure, their first three albums were alright. But they turned into whingeing, posing, money grasping assholes. I just watched a documentary here in the UK about them and they are so far up their own arses, bunch of dicks!! Nice one for posting this by the way.
