First video I've ever frapsed/edited... so forgive the rough spots.
The idea of this video is a sort of "promo"/trailer to show possible new players the speed of combat in TR, and to give them an idea of the cinematic appeal of the game's appearance... without spoiling some of the more awe-inspiring landmarks such as Arieki Comm Tower and the like. (Though admittedly the lack of such content lowers the appeal of the video itself.)
Track: "Exit" by Unknown Error (heavily edited for the purposes of this video)
I would have liked to have some better camera angles to work with, but the camera controls in TR are fairly limiting... I did what I could.
Note: For some reason the sound is funky on Youtube... gets loud at random points. It wasn't that way on the original high quality version. Hmm.

i found out the other day that Garrett is Sueing NCsoft he DIDNOT quit they FIRED him so hopefully this is not the last we will hear about one of the best scifi MMO's out there and as far as WoW goes i have never and will never play it!!!!!!! Toonman (Orion) out
No content made this game die, period. At lv 50 there was nothing else to do except pvp where all pvpers left the game after 3-4 months after release.
Simple. Almost all MMO players want to play a fantasy based MMO, not a sci-fi based one.
TR was about as good as it gets for sci-fi based MMO. But when Obama crashed the economy, it simply wasn't cost effective to keep the game open for the small number of fans who wanted this game to remain active.
Meanwhile, everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) re-upped to play WoW again. And just like with the first expansion, it was good for a couple months and now sucks again.
