@CarolAtlantica i've answered this before in previous comments...it's quicker and more durable to use the braid instead of the tinsel...hence MODIFIED in the title...thanks for watching...

nice fly but not totally correct, the original has a flat silver tinsel body with an embossed silver tinsel ribbing.

i know about the traditional dressing but for durability purposes, i like to use the diamond braid...that's the beauty of tying; there are no rules...thanks for watching...

i used to use the flat tinsel with an oval tinsel rib that was called for in the original pattern but have turned to the easier "dark side" with the diamond braid for the body...
