Buzzy doesn't get that the card companies invest millions into marketing security when they shouldn't have to and probably investing countless resources to maintain something like PCI, all on the books as millions of dollars in losses. Not a fan of corporatism but also not a fan of the small merchant that takes my credit card and doesn't know how to protect it.

If the credit card companies really were concerned about fraud, they wouldn't print your credit card number on the front of the card. PCI Compliance is a joke. It's a scam to get more money from businesses. The PCI scanners return issues like "your front page extensions" are a threat. This has nothing to do with credit card fraud. PCI is an attempt to give Visa the power to shut down small businesses, nothing more. It's a move in the direction of corporatism.
