Pete Seeger is one of the truly pure voices of dissent and consciousness. Every generation would be well served to check out his story. A good place to start, besides listening to his music, is to see the PBS documentary on his life. He is one of the true heroes in this world.

The best versions of this song is of corse this one first, by pete and seconed best is Anne hills, but I cant find it on youtube. I have it on a cassette tape.
