Neurogenesis is the process by which new neurons are populated in the brain. Dr. Tracey Shors' research investigates the concept of adult neurogenesis, which was previously thought to be non-existent.
Dr. Shors is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Dr. Shors' laboratory is funded by the National Institutes of Mental Health, the National Science Foundation and National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression.

Cannabinoid Receptors (CB1 & CB2) are in our skin, brain, immune system, intestines, liver, spine, ribs, white blood cells, & bone marrow (STEM CELLS). Without the 600 Million+ year old Endocannabinoid System*, Stem Cells would act like a car without a driver.
